In the present era of remarkable technological achievements in the computational domain new techniques have been applied in the engineering and health sciences domain. There is increased necessity to solve complex problems in computational domains and obtain better results from the simulations that will be helpful to clinicians. The International Conference on Computational Methods in Engineering and Health Sciences (ICCMEH-2017) serves the purpose of bringing together the computational scientists and engineers and medical fraternity from various interdisciplinary domains under a common forum. The latest technological advances shall be shared through a series of keynote lectures and parallel presentations. This is done to foster various types of academic collaborations. The theme of this conference will be broad (but not limited to) covering several analytical and numerical techniques, and novel applications of computational techniques to solve problems in engineering, health sciences, and other computational disciplines.

About Us:

Manipal University is synonymous with excellence in higher education. Over 28,000 students from 57 different nations live, learn and play in the sprawling University town, nestled on a plateau in Karnataka’s Udupi district. The University has off-campuses in Mangalore and Bangalore, and off-shore campuses in Dubai (UAE) and Melaka (Malaysia). The Mangalore campus offers medical, dental, and nursing programs. The Bangalore Campus offers programs in Regenerative Medicine. The Dubai campus offers programs in engineering, management and architecture, and the Melaka campus offers programs in medicine and dentistry. In Manipal, the different educational facilities include the Simulation Lab with computer driven Manikins, an Innovation Centre, one of Asia’s largest health sciences libraries, one of the world’s best anatomy museums, a business incubation centre and various other centers of excellence. Academic collaborations and twinning programs with several universities in the US, UK, Australia and other countries ensure that students get international exposure and expertise. The Manipal Group, a pioneer in higher education services with a 60-year-old legacy of excellence, also owns and operates campuses in Sikkim and Jaipur in India, and in Nepal, Malaysia, and Antigua, in the Caribbean.

Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is a leading research university in Malaysia, which also well known as a world renowned centre of learning and research. It was recognized as Universiti Pertanian Malaysia in 1973 with the development and establishment of course in agriculture with three main central faculties and one basic division: the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture and a Division of Foundation studies. The last thirty years have seen studies in UPM diverse to include the field of Science and Technology. In 1997, the name Universiti Pertanian Malaysia was changed to Universiti Putra Malaysia, as a strategic gesture to portray the status of UPM as a centre of higher education capable of providing various fields of studies, including medicine and health science, economics and management, engineering, food science and technology, educational studies, design and architecture, computer science and information technology etc. Furthermore, as one of the nation’s five leading research universities, UPM is highly committed to the discovery of knowledge, which facilitates national development in the new millennium.

Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech) was originally founded as a private institution called the Meiji College of Technology (MCT) in 1907, in the northern area of the island of Kyushu in Japan. In 1949, it became a national university and was renamed the Kyushu Institute of Technology. The new Faculty of Computer Science and Systems Engineering (1986) and Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering (2000) were founded in addition to the already established Faculty of Engineering. For more than 100 years, KIT has produced world-leading professional engineers and contributed to industrial development in Japan and abroad through research and development for creating new technologies
