Welcome Message

Dear Sir/Madam,

While the world has committed to eliminate TB by 2030 and the announcement by Government of India to eliminate TB from India by 2025, it becomes our duty to be a part of this drive in our capacity. Tuberculosis has scourged the mankind from ancient time. As per the Global TB report 2017, the estimated incidence of TB in India was approximately 28,00,000 accounting for about a quarter of the world’s TB cases. This National TB conference is our effort to provide a platform where experts and stalwarts working in this field will join to create awareness about the recent updates on epidemiology, diagnostics, management of the disease and the challenges ahead to achieve our goal. I take this opportunity to invite post-graduates, researchers, clinicians and laboratory personnel both from private and public health perspectives to participate in this National Conference. Moreover, delegates will enjoy their stay in serene environment of Manipal, popularly known as “Educational Hub of India”.
