Two day symposium on
Immunometabolism in Tissue Homeostasis, Infections and Sterile Inflammation

5 - 6 September, Manipal School of Life Sciences, MAHE, Manipal

About The Event

Bidirectional crosstalk between the immune system and metabolic pathways forms an immunometabolic axis, which is dysregulated in infections, metabolic disorders, and autoimmune diseases. Novel insights into immunometabolism open new avenues for therapeutic interventions targeting metabolism to modulate immune response and improve patient outcomes.

This Symposium on β€œImmunometabolism in Tissue Homeostasis, Infections, and Sterile Inflammation” brings together Indian researchers interested in understanding crosstalk between immune function and metabolism in health and disease. In the context of immunometabolism, we aim to emphasize current understanding of severity and response in infections and metabolic disorders, along with systems biology approaches and technical advancements in the field.
