The National Conference on Youth in Social Change, is to be held on 17 September 2025 at Manipal with
Theme: “Leading the Green Transition for a Sustainable Future".
The conference aims to inspire leadership and collaboration in driving eco-friendly innovations and sustainable practices. It highlights the urgent need for collective action to combat climate change and build a resilient, green future.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the conference will focus on four core sub-themes:
- Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7)
- Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11)
- Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)
- Climate Action (SDG 13)
Conference Highlights:
- National Level Poster Presentations for students and faculty in line with the UN SDGs
- Sessions by Social Change Makers, including panel discussions
- Networking Opportunities with NGOs and leaders from the social sector for internship and fellowships
The conference also aims to encourage the concept of giving among the youth and to sensitize them to bring a social change and promote Daan Utsav. The take away from this conference is the exchange of ideas and a platform to get inspired and try out new projects. It may also serve as a melting pot of different ideas, both conceptual and executed ones to form a focused approach to the future of DaanUtsav and in extension, the concept of Giving in the country.
