The Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics is an advanced research hub and teaching department in the field of Nanoscience, Biophotonics and Quantum technologies at Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Through government and industry funding, the department has established world-class research labs in the field of Raman Tweezers, multi-modal spectroscopic technology, nanoscale interfaces and applications, nanosensors, nano-biophotonics, ultrafast lasers, and its applications. In addition, the department is creating skilled manpower through their unique graduate and post-graduate programs in Photonics as well as Nanoscience and Technology, and PhD programs in Physics.
About Department of Physics, Manipal University, Jaipur
The Physics Department, Manipal University Jaipur, a part of the School of Basic Sciences, was founded in 2011. Its mission is to deliver top-tier physics education and conduct cutting-edge research in pure, applied, and interdisciplinary fields like Nanoscience, Non-linear dynamics, Quantum Science, Applied Nuclear Science, Biophysics to name a few. The department boasts highly qualified faculty members with extensive teaching experience and highly notable research contributions, having graduated from globally renowned institutions. Additionally, the department hosts various research projects funded by organizations like SERB, DST, UGC, DAE, and DST Rajasthan and the Industry partners.
