Dr. Vidyaa Hari Iyer completed her BDS in the year 1994 and started practicing professional dentistry from 2000. She worked in Ragas Dental College and Hospital, Uthandi, Chennai in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics for 11 years. She has specialized in Laser dentistry, Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry. She underwent basic training in Laser Applications from World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI)- Taipei, Taiwan in the year 2008. She also did a certificate program, on Laser Dentistry awarded by RWTH International Academy, Aachen University, Germany, and IALD Mumbai in the year 2010. She went on to do Diploma in Laser Dentistry conducted by AALZ & RWTH Aachen University (Germany) at IALD Mumbai in the year 2010. She acquired a Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from University of Genova, Italy. With over 31 years of clinical experience, she is currently working as the Director of Smile Dental Clinic, Chennai and has been awarded by various institutions and dental fraternities for demonstrating excellence in dentistry. Dr. Padmaja Sharma is an esteemed professor at Manubhai Dental College, Vadodara. She completed her BDS in 2007, after which she continued to complete her MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from MCODS Manipal in 2012. She went on to pursue a Fellowship in (Orofacial Pain, TMJ Disorders, and Dental Sleep Apnoea) from Smile USA with Roseman University in 2023. At present, she is also pursuing a Mastership in the same field from Smile USA with Roseman University. With a robust academic background and extensive clinical experience, Dr. Padmaja has established herself as a leading figure. She runs a private practice as Vadodara Dental care for more than a decade now. Her educational journey is marked by excellence, having completed her undergraduate studies with top marks. Dr. Padmaja has numerous international and national publications to her name. She currently holds a membership of IOS Life Member (LM 2496) and Gujarat Orthodontic Study Group Member. Dr Arvind Shenoy is an alumnus of the prestigious Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai. He graduated in 1991 having specialized in a combined Master’s program of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics. He has been actively involved in teaching since 1992, having trained over 100 graduate students and mentoring their research. He has also been associated with three premier institutions including: MCODS Mangalore; KIDS Belgaum; and Bapuji Dental College, Davangere. He is the lead editor of the South Asian edition of Philips Science of Dental materials (2nd Edition) and the lead author of the book ‘Endodontics: Principles and Practice.’ He has also authored numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and periodicals. An accomplished orator, he is much sought after as a speaker at various National and International conferences and has over 200 lectures and courses to his credit. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of Restorative dentistry and Endodontics and has a well-established clinical practice. He specializes in Cosmetic and Aesthetic corrections and full mouth rehabilitation. B from Mahatma Gandhi University in the year 2013 and Ph.D. from University of Kerala in 2019. He completed MOrth RCPS from Glasgow and MOrth RCS from England in 2021. He is a Diplomate of Indian Board of Orthodontics and completed advanced certification in medical law, Clinical research and Bio ethics from Cochin University of Science and technology. He is currently the Dean, Faculty of Dental sciences, Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Member of academic council, senate & student council, and planning committee of KUHS. He is the Associate Editor of Journal of Indian Orthodontic society and peer reviewer of many national and international journals. He has over 50 PubMed / Scopus indexed publications and more than 30 conference presentations. He obtained Indian Orthodontic society research grant (2021) and Dr Prem Prakash award for the best treated clinical case in orthodontics. He has authored 5 chapters in text books. He is currently the member secretary of Institutional ethics committee and Professor and Head of the department of Orthodontics, Government Dental College, Thrissur. Dr. Sushma completed her BDS from TN MGR University, Chennai in 2011 and went on to pursue her Masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Manipal University of Dental Science, Manipal. Being a passionate orthodontist, she helps patients in diagnosing, preventing, and correcting misaligned teeth and jaws. She is skilled in using fixed appliances (e.g. MBT, Self Ligating system), Clear aligners (e.g. Invisalign), 3D treatment planning, Temporary Anchorage Devices (TAD) and growth modification techniques. She has received the ManKarSai Award for Excellence in Orthodontics and is committed to providing the best treatment options and healthy confident smiles to her patients. She is currently working as a Consultant Orthodontist in Aster Whitefield Hospital, Bengaluru Dental Clinics and Director and Head Clinician at Star Dentistry, Bengaluru.
