MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT)
Manipal Institute of Technology a constituent institute of MAHE is one of the premier institutes in the country imparting quality education in engineering. Founded By the great visionary and founder of Manipal, Dr. T M A Pai in 1957. It is the first self-financing – engineering institute in India and constituent institute of MAHE. The institute offers 17 undergraduate programs and 26 postgraduate programs in various disciplines. It also offers research programs leading to Ph.D.

DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
The department of Civil Engineering was established along with the institute in 1957. The department offers BTech in Civil Engineering and MTech programs in Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management and Environmental Engineering. The department has well equipped laboratory facilities, qualified and experienced faculty. It offers consultancy services covering all disciplines of Civil Engineering.
