Scope: Ensure that the field of your study/abstract is in the broad field involving your original research, case studies or metanalysis, etc.

Abstract title: The title is limited to 180 characters including spaces and should be brief and relevant. Special characters should NOT be used in the title, instead spell it out (e.g. α should be written as alpha, β as beta). Only use standard abbreviations and generic drug names in the title.
Authors: All authors should be associated with the work done in some manner. Number of authors is limited to 10. Presenting author must be underlined. All affiliations must be listed in the abstract. A registered delegate shall present only one research presentation.
Abstract body:The abstract shall comprise of background, aims & objectives, methods, results, conclusion, and keywords as per the given template.
Font size and style:
Font size: Times New Roman
Title: 18 font
List of authors: 12 font
Affiliations: 10 font
Presenting author’s email: 10 font
The main body of the text: 12 font
The spacing of 1.5 points.
The length of the abstract is limited to 500 words only.
Only commonly accepted abbreviations should be used. Treatment groups or drug names should NOT be abbreviated. Less widely recognised abbreviations may be used if introduced on first usage (e.g. ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, ABPM). Only approved and generic (non-proprietary) drug names should be used. Do NOT include the title, authors, or grant information in the abstract body.
Abstract submission format: The abstract must be prepared in WORD (docx) format. Send the file as an attachment to abstracts.trdd@manipal.edu on or before 10 October 2023. Abstracts will not be accepted after the deadline. The subject of the mail should include the following: “Abstract submission – TRDD conference”
Template: Please use the template published on the website to prepare the abstract for poster and oral presentation.
Selection: All submitted abstracts undergo a review process. Accepted abstracts will be selected for poster or oral research presentations. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any submitted abstract and re-categorize any accepted abstract. The decision of the scientific committee is final and irrevocable.
Notification: Acceptance or rejection of submitted abstracts will be intimated to the submitting author by 15 October 2023. It is the responsibility of the submitting author to inform all other authors of the submission and status of the abstract and request their registration for the conference.
Author Registration: Presenting authors of the accepted abstracts MUST register for the conference by 25th October 2023. If registration fee (including the GST) is not paid by the deadline, the abstract will be withdrawn.
Originality, plagiarism, ethical approval, copyright: It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the originality of the research, as well as the abstract and posters. All authors are requested to adhere to publication ethics and ensure no conflicts are present with regard to the submission of abstracts. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure appropriate ethical/regulatory approval has been taken wherever applicable for the images/data/research material which is presented/published in this conference.
Presentation details: Instructions about the presentation will be intimated in October 2023 after completion of the selection process.
