Dear Friends / Colleagues,
It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to the Manipal McGill Infectious Disease International Conference 2018 to be organized by Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru at the Dr. TMA Pai Convention Centre, Mangaluru on August 11th and 12th 2018 as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Manipal Academy of Higher education.
With the Damocles’ sword of Antimicrobial resistance, Achilles’ heel of Nosocomial infections and Neglected area of Tropical diseases, we still have miles to go before we sleep. India, being a hub of Infectious disease, it is imperative that we contribute our bit to develop this nascent field.
The Manipal McGill centre for Infectious Disease (MAC ID) was set up at Manipal Academy of Higher Education to foster capacity building and research in Infectious Disease.
We have lined up a number of lectures, panel discussions and debates on wide ranging topics in Infectious diseases with special emphasis on Tropical Diseases.
The topics have been selected to be of special interest to clinicians and academicians working in the field of Medicine, Pediatrics, Microbiology, Epidemiology, Public Health. A special attraction would be CME sessions and parallel Adult ID and Pediatric ID sessions.
Karnataka Medical Council Credit points will be given to all participants who register before 31st July 2018.
The coastal city of Mangaluru is an education hub, known for its ancient temples, clean beaches, warm hospitality and wonderful cuisine.
Come and partake in this academic extravaganza to make a difference and impact in the area of Infectious Diseases and relax your stressed nerves on the coastal sands of Mangaluru.
