Call for Abstracts


We welcome submission of abstracts for Manipal Urogynecology Course: Third edition (MUG2022), which is meant for the young budding gynecologists and introduces them to the principles, scope, surgical techniques and controversies in Urogynecology.

To facilitate the submission process and the subsequent follow-up process, kindly consider the following guidelines, information, tips, terms and deadlines mentioned.

  • Registration for the conference is mandatory for abstract submission
  • Abstracts may be sent for - -Case reports/ Case Series/ Surgical Technique / retrospective/prospective studies
  • The authors are encouraged to prepare and send an informative abstract, which is summary of a paper’s substance including its Background, Methodology, Results and Conclusion.
  • The abstract must be in English with Title - less than 20 words, Body - Maximum of 250 words (excluding title) of plain text without diagrams, charts, footnotes or references. The abstracts that do not meet this word limit shall be sent back to the author(s) to be revised.
  • The abstract must be typed using Times Roman, font size 12.
  • The presenting author (bold and underlined) must also submit the co-authors’ names and affiliations.
  • The abstract must be sent to manipalurogynecology@gmail.com
  • Presentations of reviewed and accepted abstracts will be as E-posters.
