We also invite Industry professionals to contribute by submitting insightful case studies showcasing their R&D innovations—offering valuable perspectives and real-world relevance.

Submission Process

For both submission types, authors must first prepare and submit a one-page extended abstract using the “Abstract Template” provided below.

  • For authors using other plagiarism tools: Upload only the formatted paper. The conference committee will independently verify the plagiarism status

Paper Registration and Presentation Guidelines

  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference.
  • The registered author is required to present the paper during the event.
  • Please note: Authors submitting multiple accepted papers are required to complete a separate registration for each paper.

Peer Review Process

1. Editorial Screening

The Proceedings Editors and Technical Committee will conduct an initial screening to assess:
  • Relevance to the conference themes and scope.
  • Compliance with submission and formatting guidelines.
  • Originality, using appropriate similarity detection software and editorial assessment of any identified overlap.
  • Overall technical quality and suitability for peer review.
Manuscripts outside the conference scope or failing to meet the initial requirements will be returned for correction or rejected.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts passing the initial screening will be assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. Author information will be removed from the manuscripts to support double-blind review. Author identities will be withheld from reviewers, and reviewer identities will be withheld from authors. Reviewers will be selected based on their expertise and absence of conflicts of interest with the authors or the submitted work.

3. Review Criteria

Reviewers will evaluate manuscripts based on:
  • Originality and novelty of the research.
  • Technical and scientific quality.
  • Methodological rigour and validity of the results.
  • Significance and contribution to industrial decarbonization and related fields.
  • Organization, clarity, and quality of presentation.
  • Adequacy and relevance of references.
  • Suitability for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

4. Review Recommendations

Reviewers will provide constructive comments and recommend one of the following:
  • Accept.
  • Accept with minor revisions.
  • Major revisions and resubmission for further review.
  • Reject.
Where reviewer recommendations differ substantially, an additional independent reviewer will be appointed to assist with the editorial decision.

5. Revision Process

Authors receiving revision requests will be required to submit a revised manuscript and a point-by-point response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed. Revised manuscripts will be assessed by the handling editor and, where necessary, returned to the original reviewers. Manuscripts requiring major revisions will undergo further review before an acceptance decision is made.

6. Final Decision

The Proceedings Editors and Technical Programme Committee will decide whether to accept each manuscript for inclusion in the proposed proceedings after considering the reviewers’ recommendations and verifying that the required revisions have been satisfactorily addressed. Final publication will remain subject to the publisher’s editorial evaluation and applicable requirements.

Best Paper Award

Each conference track will recognize the Best Paper among the papers presented during the conference. The selected paper will receive a Best Paper Award along with a cash prize of ₹10,000.

Publication Ethics

Accepted manuscripts will undergo final checks for formatting, language clarity, references, author information, permissions for reproduced material, and compliance with the publisher’s guidelines.

All editors and reviewers will be required to declare potential conflicts of interest, maintain confidentiality, and evaluate submissions solely on their scholarly merit. Manuscripts authored or co-authored by an editor or committee member will be handled by an independent editor without a conflict of interest, and the author concerned will not participate in the review or decision-making process for that manuscript.
