KT Ravindran

Urban Designer, Delhi

KT Ravindran

KT Ravindran is an Urban Designer practicing from Delhi. He is currently Member of the Kerala State Urbanisation Commission. He is Trustee for The Madhavan Nayar Foundation, Kochi. He is Chairman of the Governing Committee for Goa College of Architecture. He delivers public lectures in various fora on urbanization. He was Member of the Advisory Board for the United Nations Capital Master Plan, New York. He taught Urban Design for three decades in SPA Delhi. He was Dean and Senior Academic Advisor, RICS School of Built Environment, former Chairman of Delhi Urban Art Commission and was the Founding President of the Institute of Urban Designers India.


Professor Paul Sanders

Professor Paul Sanders is the Chair/ Professor of Architecture in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at Deakin University. His career in academic and practice has been rooted in urban architecture upon an underpinning of how architecture affects and is affected by its urban context. Paul’s scholarship in architecture, urban morphology, and urban design has allowed him to engage deeply across all areas of the built environment and design disciplines. Paul’s current major research activity is a project called GrandSchools: An Intergenerational Learning and Living Campus, which addresses the Health and Wellbeing of seniors and youth and proposes new approaches to the urban design of educational precincts. Paul is also collaborating with leaders at Deakin University to establish a groundbreaking new area of teaching, research, and application named Design for Circular Cities, focusing on systems thinking for sustainability in the built environment.

Kiran Keswani

Co-founder, Everyday City Lab

Kiran Keswani

Kiran Keswani is Co-founder, Everyday City Lab, an urban design lab that focuses on the everyday life of the city. She has had a design practice for over 20 years. She trained with the architect Balkrishna Doshi at his studio, Sangath in Ahmedabad from 1991-92 and holds a PhD in urban design. She has taught urban design studios at CEPT University, Ahmedabad and elective courses on architecture and design at Azim Premji University. She has published papers in the Journal of Urban design and recently, a chapter in the Routledge Handbook on Urban Design Research Methods. She is the author of the book: The Making of a Campus: IIM Bangalore (2023) and a recipient of the Earthwatch Europe grant for 2022-23 for research related to nature in the city.


Anand Wadwekar

Anand Wadwekar teaches at the Department of Urban Design at the School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal. Anand did his doctoral studies in Urban and Regional Design at Hokkaido University, Japan. He has presented and published papers on urban history, urban resilience, and post-colonial urbanism. Anand was among the selected 40 international scholars to do the executive programme on Environmental Change and Globalization at the prestigious United Nations University Tokyo in 2008. Besides teaching, Anand has worked on many consultancy and research projects at SPA Bhopal. Anand is keen on identifying the ontological processes that generate distinct urban forms of Indian cities.
