Guidelines for abstract submission
- The abstract must provide an informative summary of the research work.
- Each participant can submit only one abstract
- The paper should not have been presented at any other conference or not been published in any journal
- The participants can present clinical/preclinical research. Original research, systematic reviews, metanalysis, case reports or series can be presented. Clinical research papers on pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacovigilance, health economics, outcome research, clinical trials and medical education will be considered. For, preclinical research both in vitro and in vivo studies can be submitted.
- Originality, plagiarism, copyright: It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the originality of the research, as well as the abstract and posters.
- It is also the author’s responsibility to ensure appropriate ethical/regulatory approval is taken wherever applicable
- Only the delegates registered/registering for the main conference can submit abstracts.
- All presentations will be offline only
- Acceptance of an abstract is solely at the discretion of the Scientific Committee. The acceptance and mode of presentation will be informed by email.
- Accepted abstracts will be included in the souvenir of the conference
- Top three best oral and poster presentations will be awarded based on jury report. In addition to this, there will be Expharm and Jipmer prizes. Please find the details of Expharm and Jipmer prizes. Please select the option for Expharm and Jipmer prize on the google form for abstract submission.
- Word limit of the abstract not to exceed 300 words
- Name the abstract as Your Name_oral or poster (eg: anitha_oral OR anitha_poster)
- Only word files can be uploaded. The abstract should be typed in Times new roman 12. Only title to be in bold . Abstract to be structured with headings: Background, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and 3-5 key words
- Underline the name of the presenting author

Poster Presentation Guidelines
- Orientation: Portrait
- Poster size/layout: 4 ft (height) x 3 ft (width) (single poster)
- Font type: Arial
- Title of the study
- Name of all the authors (Name of the presenter has to be underlined)
- Affiliations of all the authors
- Poster content should include Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions and References
- Font size can be modified by participants in a readable format.
- Media: Images/photos, graphs, and tables can be included in the poster.
- Kindly bring your printed poster along with you on the day of the conference.
- E-posters will not be entertained
Oral Presentation Guidelines
- The oral presentation should be prepared & sent as a Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt) using a 4:3 standard slide setting.
- The presentation should be for 8 minutes and 2 minutes for Q&A. (The time will be the same for the Expharm prize session)
- Font type: Arial
- In the first slide mention the title followed by names and affiliations of contributors.
- The number of slides should not be more than 10 (including references) and the presentation must be concluded within 6 minutes.
- The participant should be present at the venue during the allotted time; failure to do so will lead to disqualification (the venue and time slot will be intimated at the earliest).
- Send final PPT to email: kmcpharmacology2022@gmail.com and name the file as : “Full Name_Oral” . Mention the subject of the email as oral presentation.
For the Expharm prize paper name the file as “ Full name_Oral_expharm.
The last date for submission of the PPT is 25th Oct 2023.
