Abstract Submission

General Guidelines for abstract

  • Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
  • Original research papers, case reports, review papers will be accepted for presentation.
  • An abstract can be submitted either for paper or poster presentation.
  • Abstract must include the following headings:
  • Title
  • Authors list with affiliation, conference registration ID, email and phone numbers
  • Name of the presenting author (only for paper presentation)
  • Faculty guide with affiliation and contact information
  • Category
  • Abstract

  • Abstract Format: Structured
  • Original Research: Objective, Methodology, Result, Conclusion
  • Case Report: Introduction, Case Description, Conclusion
  • Review Article: Objective, Summary, Conclusion

  • Categories for Presentation
Includes the domains of education, research, and service delivery within the scope of dental health professionals.
  • Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Oral Pathology
  • Prosthodontics, Periodontology, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics and Material Sciences
  • Pedodontics, Orthodontics, Public Health Dentistry
  • Others: including but not limited to dental education, dental practice management, interprofessional education, practice & care (IPECP), health informatics, service delivery, patient education, social media or other relevant subjects not categorized in previous domains

  • Abstract Submission: to be done through appropriate link provided for paper or poster presentation.
  • Submission of abstracts by email will not be accepted
  • The status of abstract acceptance will be communicated to delegates via their registered email address
  • Upon acceptance, the presentation must be emailed to srf.mcodsmlr@manipal.edu
  • A plagiarism similarity report of less than 15% must be submitted after abstract acceptance along with the final paper (Zero tolerance to plagiarism)
  • Last date for abstract submission: 10th May 2026
